After seven years away, Cannes Grand Prix winner, Jan Lucas, has last month returned to the Berlin agency, Aimaq von Lobenstein/Saint Elmo’s (www.avl-se.com).
Jan Lucas most recently headed the agency Grey Berlin as Executive Creative Director, together with Matthias Meusel, Oliver Handlos and Achim Weber. Eight Cannes Lions including a Grand Prix (for Soundcloud – “The Berlin Wall of Sound.”) are among his spectacular successes to date.
Now, the highly decorated creative is returning to his old domain, having already been creative director for classic and digital media for Aimaq von Lobenstein/Saint Elmo’s between 2005 and 2010, responsible for major accounts such as Asics, Head, Mini and Ferrero.
With immediate effect, Lucas, together with agency founder André Aimaq, will be responsible for the creative output of AvL/SE and for further enhancing the agency profile at a national and international level.

About Jan Lucas
After completing his studies, the qualified communications designer first worked as a freelancer, before beginning his agency career as creative director for classic and digital media, with responsibility for numerous major brand accounts – holding positions at Aimaq von Lobenstein/Saint Elmo’s (Asics, Head, Mini and others), at M&C Saatchi Berlin (Ferrero, Siemens, Havana Club and others) and from 2014 as Executive Creative Director at Grey Berlin (Soundcloud, Welt am Sonntag, Bosch, Weber Grill and others). In addition, Jan Lucas held a two-year teaching post at the Miami Ad School.
